I knew it was coming for a long time, I just could never conjure up enough courage to get it done. Hershey lived a long life, almost 14 years which is a long time for a Doberman. I adopted him from a shelter when he was about 8 weeks old and we had been inseparable ever since. Halloween may not have been the best choice in dates but I just couldn't put it off any longer. He is no longer in pain and that's all that matters. His ashes are in an urn sitting on my desk but I plan on making my own out of clay in his likeness. I'm not sure when that will be done but I'll upload it when the time comes. I made this for a page in my website which can be seen here. I plan on making a video as well with his pictures and the song I used for the graphic and on the page which is "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill. I'd have it done by now but all his old pictures are on a floppy and my new computer didn't come with a floppy drive >.< and I've been too lazy to dig them all out and scan them in. There's a good chance my sister's computer has a floppy drive so I'm going to ask before going over there on Thursday.
